These general conditions are applicable to the online sale of our products offered through the website www.buildingbricolage.com. By placing an order, the user expressly accepts these General Conditions.

Not all products listed on the website can be purchased online. Online sales apply only to products in the ”shop” section.

The photos and images shown on the website www.buildingbricolage.com have the sole purpose of presenting the product and do not constitute a contractual element.

We reserve the right to periodically modify these General Conditions. The version published on our website prevails when the user creates the order.

The data collected by our computer system proves the purchase transaction.

PRICES, OFFERS AND PROMOTIONS

ORDERS

After selecting the products on the website, in the PRODUCTS section you can proceed with the order by clicking on the "Add to cart" button.

From the cart it is possible to continue shopping, remove the item inserted or proceed to payment.

In the cart you can see the prices of the selected products, the discounts, as well as the total price of the order (if not yet registered, excluding the cost of transport)
The indicated price is VAT included.
Before continuing to purchase, if you have, enter a coupon code.

If you are satisfied with your choice and want to complete your order, you must enter a valid email and click on "Checkout".

To continue, you will have to enter the data necessary for a correct order fulfillment and select the delivery method.

The cost of shipping will be displayed in the next step (excluding VAT)

The order is completed only after payment has been made. (via Paypal account, credit or debit card, or by bank transfer to the coordinates shown)

For each final order, you will receive our order confirmation via e-mail, in the language of the website, indicating the delivery times and the possibility of canceling the order free of charge within that deadline. This way you can be sure that the order has arrived correctly.

Upon request and prior communication of company data, we will send the relevant invoice free of charge by e-mail.

You can select one of the following payment methods:

Payment with vouchers, gift vouchers or gift cards is not possible.
Cash on delivery is not possible

SHIPMENTS

Our shipments are fast and punctual. All orders received by 9:00 am will be shipped the same day (if directed to Italy and Europe).

In Italy, deliveries are made within 24/48 hours, excluding Saturdays and Sundays. Variations with respect to these times may occur if the order will be directed to Southern Italy, to the Italian islands, and to all locations deemed inconvenient by the courier.

Unfortunately we are not responsible and cannot foresee delays due to the courier or to the individual locations of the couriers who will take care of your delivery. Obviously we will do our best to intervene and solicit the courier in the delivery.
Building & Bricolage srl cannot be held responsible in any way for any delays due to facts of third parties and / or force majeure.

Delivery is made only at street level, deliveries are not made by appointment.

We are not responsible for orders left in stock or returned to the sender. Unfortunately, delivery delays can occur due to incomplete / incorrect addresses. In this case we will try to intervene as soon as possible, if you provide us with exact data, so as to schedule a new delivery. We are not responsible in the event of delays in returning an order that has gone into storage, or if the courier fails to book a return on our notice.

However, the shipping costs expressly reported at the time of checkout are valid.

In case of failure to collect the package, Building & Bricolage has full right to activate reimbursement of expenses of 5 euros for storage.

WITHDRAWAL

The pick-up point is chosen during the order. The products can only be collected at the indicated point of sale.

The store will be informed and the products booked in the name of the buyer.

The buyer will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail as soon as the order is received at the point of sale. If exceptionally the ordered item is not in stock or the delivery has been delayed, it will be communicated by e-mail.

The buyer will then have 15 calendar days to collect the goods upon presentation of the order confirmation.

If the goods are not collected after two electronic reminder messages, Building & Bricolage is entitled to terminate the contract. The purchase amount will be re-credited to the account number from which the payment was made and through the same method in which it was made.

AVAILABILITY

Availability is indicated for each product. Despite our efforts to communicate correct data, it may happen that delivery is impossible, eg. for error in the warehouse data or for delivery problems by the supplier. In this case we will inform the buyer as soon as possible and refund the purchase amount.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

We offer a return service if the ordered product is not to your liking.

From the day following delivery you will have 15 calendar days to withdraw from the purchase of every item he is not satisfied with.

How do you exercise your right of withdrawal? It is necessary to communicate it to us through an explicit declaration to the following email address info@buildingbricolage.com

It will also be necessary to return the goods to our store as soon as possible, and in any case within 15 days of delivery. ( the cost of shipping to our store is charged to the buyer ).
You can also request collection by one of our couriers with the addition of € 15, which will be deducted from the refund.

What to return? Together with the item, everything present with the product (accessories, instructions for use, warranty certificate, etc.) must be returned, as well as the original intact packaging, together with a copy of the proof of purchase.
The goods must be sent in the same packaging.
We will not be responsible for any breakage caused by a lack of care in the packaging

Returns will not be accepted in the following cases:

-If the items, accessories or packaging are assembled, dirty, damaged or incomplete or if they have been used more than necessary to verify their nature, characteristics or functioning.
- If the package (or part of it) has been opened in such a way as to make further sale of the product impossible.
-For items of an evident personal nature or which are impossible to return due to their nature.


If it turns out that the return cannot be accepted, the product remains the property of the buyer. If he has communicated his e-mail address, the buyer will be informed of the refusal of the right of withdrawal, so the goods will remain at his disposal for collection at the original collection point for a further period of 15 calendar days, after which we have the right to destroy the goods.

We will not be responsible for delays or losses in receiving returns.

The refund of the returned item will take place no later than 10 days, starting from the date on which the store took delivery of the refused item, in the state of eligibility specified above.

Only the cost of the product will be reimbursed, excluding transport costs and ancillary costs.

By way of example but not limited to, pursuant to Article 55 of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), the right cannot be exercised in the event of:

- Goods made to measure;

- Clearly personalized goods;

- Goods that cannot be returned or that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

- Goods not present in our stock (including goods that have different timing in the product description, as items not in stock)

- Discounted items

- I transport fragile goods

In case the item arrives damaged due to transport:

It will be necessary to return the goods to our store as soon as possible, and in any case within 15 days of delivery. (the cost of shipping to our store is the responsibility of the buyer)

Once the goods have been viewed, you will be refunded the total cost of the product (excluding transport costs and ancillary costs)

Your goods are insured, and for this reason the return for breakages caused by transport will be accepted only if the reserve and written complaint to the courier is made at the time of collection.

ORDER CANCELLATION - ORDER CHANGE

If you wish to cancel your order before receiving it, please notify us as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee the cancellation of an order that has already been placed, as all orders are processed in a very short time, and your order may already have been entrusted to the courier for shipping.

Tell us your cancellation request as soon as possible, our operators will do their best to check the status of the order and try to block it, so cancel it. Orders already entrusted to the courier cannot be canceled.



WARRANTY

The quality of our products is subject to the utmost care. If any problems arise, all the guarantees of conformity and legal guarantees are applicable.

This means that the items must be in good condition and must function properly in their normal use. If you receive an item that does not meet these criteria, we will provide a suitable solution.

If a defect is found, it must be reported to our customer service as soon as possible.

Any defects or non-compliance present on delivery, but only subsequently ascertained, must be communicated in writing as soon as possible and in any case no later than 1 month from its finding.

If the defect is attributable to improper use of the item, an accident, external cause (fire, damage caused by water, etc.), poor maintenance or normal wear, or if the damage has been worsened by continued use after its finding , the warranty is void. The warranty also lapses following attempts by the buyer or third parties to repair the item themselves.

The warranty provides that the item will be replaced or repaired at no cost to the buyer.
If repairs or replacements are not possible or are disproportionate, or if they cause serious inconvenience to the buyer, we will be ready to apply an appropriate price reduction upon request.

CAUSES OF FORCE MAJEURE

We are not responsible in the event that the execution is not fulfilled or is postponed due to force majeure.
Force majeure means any external cause, foreseen or unforeseen, over which we cannot exert any influence, but because of which we are unable to fulfill our obligations.

During the period of force majeure our delivery and other obligations are suspended. If the period extends beyond 8 weeks, both parties have the right to terminate the contract without any obligation to pay damages.

LOSS OR THEFT OF THE ORDER

Any theft of the order form during or after the order must be immediately reported to our customer service. By indicating the order number, we can locate the voucher and send it again by e-mail. It is not possible to collect the products without the order form.

TREATMENT OF PERSONAL DATA

We respect and protect the privacy of the buyer. We care about the trust that our customers place in us, and we guarantee that all personal data provided will be treated with the utmost care and confidentiality. In order to better inform the user of our promotional activities, the personal data compiled by the user will be recorded in our customer database. This data will be used exclusively for our newsletters, for administrative purposes, for advertising / marketing purposes and for order processing.
The data are therefore intended for internal use only and are not transferred, transferred or sold to third parties. The user has the right to view, correct or delete his data.

COMPLAINTS

If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with our customer service. Within 5 working days from the filing of the complaint, you will be informed of the deadline within which the complaint will be processed.

APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

The resolution of disputes in court takes place in accordance with the legislation in force in the country where the reseller has its registered office. The judicial jurisdiction will be exclusive to the district in which the retailer has its registered office.
